Last March, I was invited to collaborate on a creative project for the Royal Pavilion event, “Dragons.”

The project was to create a giant walk-through dragon lantern — a truly spectacular piece of art, I have to say.
Although I wasn’t part of the lighting installation, my role was to tightly wrap every section of the metal frame and help create the dragon’s body.

It was a fantastic experience, and one I hope to repeat in many more events to come 🙏🐉

I went to a late January Christmas party and made myself a Christmas Star lights outfit. the wings are crochet artwork and the rest all sewing. The lights were attached one by one. It turned out very well and I was very proud of my work✨

Patches are a serious thing to apply, people who needs them on their clothes are very particular about them. They need to be precisely positioned, straight to the millimetre and tidy stitches mostly invisible where possible and I take pride when I'm given a full job to do. Obviously the customer instructs me where to position them but then I take care of the rest. This man was soo pleased with my work that paid me extra for looking after him.
Makes me happy to do my job and to do it right 👍
