I’ve had a fabulous new batch of laces come through…( with more on the way)..
First up, a classically elegant, ( yet devilishly see through) navy number…

I did a thing….
Been mulling this one over for a while..
Wanting to add a few pocket bralettes to my mastectomy range…

They’ll take 1,2 or zero ‘foobs’
I’ve already graded the smaller sizes.. just need to buy a few bigger foobs to get measurements, then I can grade the larger ones (man, those things are expensive.. !)

I’ve cut these specially for the lighter foam forms, as a softer, prettier alternative to the more structured traditional bras as requested by one of my customers.
They’ll be listed alongside my truly flat mastectomy pieces when I’ve finished the sizing, and made a few more samples…

Lots of new laces arrived at the workshop this week, so I’ll be stitching samples, dyeing laces, and taking photographs a lot over the next month or so….

Blast from the past…!
10years ago…!
Where did that time go?
The triangle bra is a Fidditchdesigns classic.
I made my first ones in 1997! So these ones are just babies!
It was one of the first times shooting in this location though… ( new flooring… the best light in the house) … it’s still my favourite place to shoot to this day.. use it in every listing…
These laces have long ago sold out…
Though I think I might have to dye something similar.. peach and cream is such a wonderful summery colour combo…

Oh my… what a week!
Lots of special requests …
Randomly.. mostly bandeaus!!!
( Im guessing the first custom order caught people’s eye.. so then.. everybody wanted one!)
Had to stay in the workshop with the industrial machinery instead of being out in the sunshine..
Let’s hope next week is less busy… then I can take the small ,computerised machines outside and work in the sunshine…
Maybe get a chance to wear a strappy sundress, with my own bandeau…

Im getting a foster kitty!

This is jack, he’s a bouncing 3 year old baby boy, and I’ll be looking after him until he’s ready for adoption to his forever home…

Obviously, I’ll be keeping the sewing business and the Kitty fostering separate…
so I’ve created a new Instagram page,

Whilst editing photos, I’ve made something a little different today… a tiny little coin purse , concertina style, complete with zippered section .. made mostly in the hoop.. ( finished on my sewing machine as that was the easiest/ quickest way)..

My customers have the most fabulous taste..
Custom combination of a short length Balconette with some high waisted thong shorties…
I’ve got this silky soft lace in about a bazillion colours..(8 ) made around a dozen or so styles in it.. maybe more… but never made this particular combination… and I have to say, it’s a perfect mix…
I’m listing this one.. it’s a keeper….

This week I’m neck deep in custom orders…
Plus still on the never ending task of updating my photographs…
So here’s a little lace, that I took terrible pictures of, so never gets any love…
It’s a mustard yellow ( weird I know, but it’s actually very pretty irl) super dainty, with a detailed lightly corded design…
Superb lace, I’ll try take more pictures of it when I’m less busy… but here’s this weeks edit of the old photos ( I’ve upped the texture so you can see some of the detail)

Lighting.. what a difference it makes… even for the simplest of colourways….
Soft as silk, charcoal and black bralette and thong shorties… this is the same set! Photos taken about 20minutes apart.. lighting changed, so the flatlay shows the true colours, and the mannequin photo is ‘flat’.. man.. I hate photographing my wares, sometimes I think I’ll never get the hang of it… had to try get a quick photo of this one, it’s a custom combination for a very special client…
