The studio's work ranges from high-end and
bespoke embroidery design through to more 'commercial' commissions . The team offers, alongside a specialism in satin-stitch Irish embroidery, Cornelly, hand, domestic and fabric manipulation techniques. Their skill is in producing 'demi-couture' embroideries offering the highest quality of couture detail yet achieved, and made affordable for ready to wear collections and pieces. Working either collaboratively or to a tight brief, the studio guarantees results of the highest quality, managed and delivered professionally and often within tight deadlines. The work of Jenny King Embroidery was praised by Sarah Mower from style.com as having the "interpretive techniques of Lesage". The current client list includes Erdem, Stella McCartney, Mary Katrantzou, Julian J Smith, Christian Lacroix, Noki, Levis, Topman, Noel Stewart Millinery, Cathryn Avison and Manuela Dack. The Irish
Jenny King is a passionate exponent of this highly specialized machine that ceased production in the 1950s. The free-hand satin stitch embroidery that can be produced on an Irish is arguably superior to more recent techniques both in terms of creativity and quality. Jenny is proud to preserve a technique that could otherwise, sadly, become a dying art.
