Hey lovely folks, how is it August already?!
It’s been a little while. I’m still here, making, creating, and consciously crafting clothing for .
Over the past few months, I’ve been working mostly on bespoke uniforms for clients and small businesses, as well as lots of made-to-order jackets and commissions, which has been wonderful!
I’m popping back on here to share that this week on Tuesday 19th August, I’ll be hosting a Summer Holiday Tie-Dye Workshop for kids at the amazing in Stroud.
*Tuesday 19th August — 2–4pm
Join me in the main Mill building to learn how to tie-dye — we’ll be transforming socks or scrunchies (your choice!).
•Drop-in session, no booking needed.
•It’s offered on a Pay-as-you-can basis.
The session is popular, so do come early if you can to grab a space.
Lately, I’ve been feeling more than ever the quiet power of making. How creativity, textiles and craft can ground us, connect us, and offer space to slow down.
There’s something truly transformative about sharing positive creativity, especially with children. Providing a space for them to explore, experiment, to make with their hands and leave with something they created themselves, truly unique to them.
They’re also about real-life connection, community, coming together, and making for the joy of it.
In our increasingly homogenised and digital world, it feels more important than ever to amplify the tactile, soft skills of art and textiles, and to honour their value.
I’m really looking forward to holding space for that again this week and hopefully more in the future!
Local friends,I would love to see you there.
