I’m Ben, I run High Stakes Rug Co. I started off simply trying to fill excess spare time with something I’d not come across much before, rug tufting. This quickly unraveled itself into a flat full of new rugs and too many wall hangings to hang on my walls, and so High Stakes was born.

Original pieces and customs alike get an equal sharing of quality materials and attention to detail, I try to sprinkle a good bit of fun over my rugs too.

‘Rugs for any budget’ is a saying I championed early on and still stick by. A rug doesn’t have to fill a hallway, it can just be a place to rest your tea!

Every High Stakes rug is made using quality carpet wool right here in Bristol by me.
