I don’t know if this was a good idea. Maybe I still need to perfect my sharpening technique but I was very frustrated with my blunt seam ripper.

Thankfully sells replacement blades if it all goes wrong!

Anyone else done something like this? And had success?
I know that a new seam ripper is very cheap to get hold of but I like trying these types of things to see if I can fix something myself 💪

Guys - I kind of love ‘em but I’m also a little on the fence. They certainly make for a very comfortable pair of trousers.

Wore them to the workshop today as a little introduction to the world 🫣

This evening is a chance for you to get your clothing repaired. We all know that there are items of clothing waiting patiently to be repaired - but realistically you never get round to it. Now you have no excuse!

Come along, I’ll have all my knowledge, tools and supplies ready for you to use.

I’m so glad that I’m still able to work as your dedicated sewing storage and tool maker. But I love getting my products out in the wild.

Here’s where you all come in - can you tag your favourite sewing/haberdashery shop? It doesn’t have to be in the UK… it can be anywhere in the world.

It would be so great to get my products in some more shops so that you can see, touch and feel my products before you buy. And your local intel about the best fabric shops is priceless! 🥰

✨Learn something new this September! ✨

As part of Sustainable Fashion Week I am hosting an online zip repair workshop. I get asked about this a lot so I thought it was time to take the plunge and try my first online session.

Zips are sometimes seen as a scary thing to fix in clothing or bags, but once you’ve understood the different repairs you can try it isn’t as scary as it can first seems.

Tickets can be bought on my website -> look for the Workshop section in the menu.

The class will be recorded so even if you don’t make the live class you will be sent the recording.
