Embroidery means so much to us, not just as a source of income. It is our passion, hobby, therapy, creative outlet, and something that is deeply rooted within us. Honestly, we can't imagine a world without it.

The cherry needleminder idea is finally a reality! This idea was shelved for a couple of years, but it kept being on my mind.

The velvet twin cherries consist of one cherry as a pincushion and the other filled with pumice to clean your needles.

Plus, a hidden magnet in the embroidered leaf, using DMC stranded cotton, keeps scissors, a mellor (currently working on a large goldwork project), or tweezers close at hand while I work. Nothing will escape from my work field.

Exhibition prep has been a whirlwind, with some days feeling like pure madness! Luckily, we got a head start on the subbox designs. While stitching the sample for May's subbox, the idea for this reel kept buzzing in my head, even during other tasks.
