A Tiny Explorers clean isn’t simply wiping the pram down. Each travel system is carefully worked on to ensure we get into all those difficult-to-reach areas where everyday dirt, crumbs, dust, milk residue and stains can build up.
🧼 The deep clean process includes:
• Full inspection and assessment of the travel system
• Careful removal of detachable fabrics and components where possible
• Thorough vacuuming to remove loose dirt, crumbs and debris
• Detailed cleaning of the frame, wheels, chassis and mechanisms
• Deep cleaning of fabrics, seat units and bassinet/carrycot areas
• Spot and stain treatment where appropriate
• Cleaning around seams, stitching, clips, straps and other fiddly areas
• Cleaning of wheels and hard-to-reach areas
• Sanitising of suitable surfaces
• Multiple stages of cleaning rather than one quick pass
• Thorough drying and regular checks throughout the drying process
• Final inspection and reassembly

Cleaning doesn’t simply finish once the seat or bassinet has been washed.
During the drying process, we monitor the fabrics carefully. If something isn’t drying correctly, develops an issue during drying, or a stain becomes visible again once the fabric has dried, the affected item may need to be cleaned and treated again.
This means additional products, labour and drying time — and this is all included in the work required to achieve the best possible result.
A full deep clean can take several hours of hands-on work, depending on the condition, model and number of components. There is also preparation, drying time, products, equipment maintenance, re-cleaning when required and the final quality check to take into consideration.
The price therefore reflects the hours of work and specialist care that go into each individual travel system, rather than simply the finished appearance.
We take our time because the aim is to return your pram as clean, fresh and hygienic as possible, while taking care not to damage delicate fabrics, finishes or mechanisms.
You’re paying for the time, equipment, products, experience and attention to detail — not just the end result.
We completely appreciate that everyone has a budget, but we also want our clients to understand the amount of work that goes on behind the scenes to provide a proper professional deep clean.
