This all started in 2012 when I got interested in making jewellery and decided to try to sell what I was making. There are a lot of jewellery sellers out there and not everyone wears jewellery but most people like pretty things. So I went off on a tangent and made decorative items (keyrings, bookmarks, bag charms, etc) as well. When my sister got married a few years ago, I was volunteered to make

the wedding hair pieces, so that’s on our availability list. The latest additions come from the COVID lockdown. I’ve always sewn, it’s just taken 3 months of being forced to not go out to make me start doing everything that I’ve been wanting to do. So now I’ve got a large portfolio of items and ideas to get up and running. Everything is fairly priced to cover costs and to allow us to go buy more shiny things. We have hated plastic long before it was fashionable, so it’s traditional and environmentally friendly as much as possible. After all that, the reason the things get made are because I think they’re fun. We're happy to bring a selection of items to your fair, pamper event or fete to sell.

I've not posted for ages and I even considered shutting the page down because I wasn't sure what I was doing. I created a new page thinking that I could sell things that I make, but I didn't make anything. There's a lot going on at home and it's not going to stop any time soon, so I've got to get through that and out the other side. There will be an other side because everything has to end. I will still be making things, I will still be selling things, I'll consider commissions, but mostly I'll be creating to stay sane and to have fun, with the posts here being a bit of a journal and also a wandering through my travels through the creative world of painting and textiles. Happy New Year to you all and may be next year be awesome.

Life is a journey and there's no stopping and getting off it, but we've got to live it. The same goes for what we make, it's got to be fun otherwise there's no point. New toys have arrived and are being figured out slowly, if only the same could be said for my photography. There is no plan, just a random wandering through ideas.
