My passion is sewing and for a number of years I have made clothes and made alterations for family and friends, so what better way to spend the day and allow others to appreciate and benefit from my passion. From birth I have been surrounded by needles!!! Family members who we
re seamstress’s, knitters, embroiderers, cross-stitcher’s, crocheter’s and so on. My first memories of picking up a needle was when I was about 7 years old and my Dad taught me tapestry and cross stitch. I continued the cross stitch for many years. I then progressed to the sewing machine!! I remember at school making a skirt and blouse and still to this day still have those patterns!! The during my twenties I made a dress for work with my mums help. In my thirties I progressed on to making maternity clothes for myself as the fashion at the time was to have your mid-drift showing which was really for me!! As they say the rest is history and the last 10 years I have continued making clothes for myself, children, family and friends. Also along the way I have made alterations to both clothes and soft furnishings.................
