Hi everyone,
Here are a couple of things that will be at my stand at Snape Antique Centre.
First up is this lovely Japanese tray with hand made inlays and wonderfully worn back and rim. It dates from the late 1800's.
Next is an antler chair probably Swedish and again has a nice worn appearance..

The Mallard and Duchess of Hamilton are housed in the National Railway Museum. They are well worth a visit as I believe them to be great works of art.

Thought I would post this pair of glass wonders. The larger of the two is an Art Deco vase followed by a smaller and rarer amber coloured wine glass from around the same period.

Hi everyone,
Today I have posted two pictures.

Both are by the artist F. E. Fristow and dated 1879.
They are of Robert Starling's brother and sister in law.

They are painted in oil on board, however the usual piece of card that masks the workings of the artist has been removed.
You can see how he has used the edge to mix the colours and where the brush strokes start and finish.
They will soon be at Snape Antique Centre to purchase.
