With over 40 years at the forefront of flame-retardant textile innovation, Tony Attard OBE, Founder and Chairman of the Panaz Group and Chairman of the British Furniture Confederation, has played a pivotal role in the technological development of flame retardant fibres and FR treatments.
 
Throughout his career, Tony has been passionate about advancing fire safety, and Panaz is proud to have been instrumental in creating safer commercial environments through continuous innovation in high-performance fabrics.
In this video, Tony shares his perspective on the proposed changes to the Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) Regulations 1988, discussing the importance of balancing sustainability with the life-saving purpose of fire safety regulations.

A celebration of football, craftsmanship and textile heritage...

As excitement builds for the new football season, our Clerkenwell showroom window has been transformed with a striking new display. Featuring hand-stitched leather footballs from Sialkot, Pakistan, each piece is painted with vibrant Pakistani truck art and turned inside out to reveal the remarkable craftsmanship hidden within.

Complementing the installation is a bespoke drapery display, created using our digital print and custom design capabilities, bringing the intricate artwork from the footballs to life on a larger scale.

A powerful fusion of sport, culture and textile innovation, celebrating the craftsmanship and creative connections that unite Lancashire and Lahore.

This weekend, Team Panaz took on Tough Mudder Tough Mudder in support of Alzheimer's Society 💙
 
From climbing walls to crawling through the mud, the team tackled every obstacle head-on, showing incredible determination, resilience and team spirit from start to finish.
 
We’re proud to have raised £425 towards our fundraising target so far, but we’re not stopping there!

Our Clerkenwell showroom was filled with greenery last night as we welcomed the team from GA in Camden for an evening of Kokedama making.
 
Following the success of our previous workshop, it was a pleasure to bring everyone together again for an evening of creativity, conversation and hands-on making. Surrounded by lush foliage, guests had the opportunity to step away from the day-to-day, get creative and connect with fellow designers in a relaxed setting.
 
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us – we loved hosting you and look forward to welcoming you back again soon.
