New product!

Hello lovely people! After a lot of to-ing & fro-ing it’s time to let you in on some changes that are going to be happening over the coming weeks with my little business!

Ever since venturing into ceramics it has become more and more obvious that I have 2 very different branches to my business, but I have always kept them under one name to keep things simple. Lockdown has brought about many things, one of which is thinking time & looking at making changes in our lives for the better!

So with that in mind, as of today By Emma Rose will be solely ceramics, with a collection of dressing table items hopefully coming out late July. For all my other work, primarily laser with a few added extras, I am starting a new page and Etsy shop under the name Em’s Laser Nest. I have been busy putting together some little collections since Christmas and over the next few days will let you in on the journey. So if you would like to come along with me please like, follow and share and I look forward to sharing this next chapter with you!

So here we are, the 1st February! I love the beginning of a new month and am determined to be more creative from today, as it is something that has been neglected this past month & therefore left me very empty!

Lockdown 3 has definitely been a whole other level of tough, but it’s February now, the sun is shining and I have so much to be thankful for!

Top 3 (in no particular order!)

⭐️Furlough. Although I miss work & my colleagues hugely, I am so grateful to be able to be at home with my dudes to support them in their learning.

⭐️Family & Friends. Although it’s still on screen, time spent chatting to precious friends and family is such a blessing when feeling so detached! Playing games, planning projects, catching up, just seeing their faces! Treasure these meetings so much and have been a real life saver at times! Other people’s perspective can so often help to lift you out of a dark place!

⭐️Creativity. That substance at my core that is so often put off for less exciting activities, like doing the washing, looking at finances, the list goes on. But the instant I give in to that little voice urging me to get inspired and create I am instantly lighter. I NEED to remember this!

Come on then February I am consciously deciding to embrace you creatively and all you have to offer!

I have close friends and family who are teachers and I am so proud of them all. They have been working ridiculously hard through this pandemic to keep children in their care safe and continue to teach.
