Not sure how many times I have rewritten this post, I don’t know where to start. Bimbi - When a dream comes true! A proud moment of this little shop filled with everything and more, I poured my heart and soul into this, literally! I knew opening an independent shop wasn’t going to be easy in many ways, the main one being that I had 0% experience in retail other than being a buyer 🤪. But I did it, WE did it. I have been blessed to have an amazing team working alongside me these 2 years, which I could not thank enough for being there through it all. I need to especially thank Chardae 🥹❤️ for being there these past months working like it’s her own business 🙏. This has made my decision so much harder but I have had to come to terms with it. Due to work commitment changes we have moved abroad and having BIMBI still in Bury St Edmunds didn’t feel like I could focus 100% on our new beginning (especially having 3 kids). It has been hard hearing all the amazing feedback from our lovely customers 🥹 and how much they will miss this shop, but my initial plan for the shop was to have that personal shopping experience with my customers, to see their children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews grow with us. As that wasn’t going to be the case now with the move and me not being there physically, it was the only way to it. Again I want to thank each and every one of you who have supported my small business in any way possible ❤️. I will never forget it 🙏❤️ Bimbi grew with you and so did I in so many ways. Today is the last physically day of the shop being open, but will continue with online sales for a while.
