💗 A little Bury St Edmunds update… 💗

Our Bury St Edmunds store will be CLOSED today (Monday 10th August).

After an absolutely incredible weekend at Retro Fest, we’ve woken up this morning barely able to walk, barely able to talk 😂 and very much in need of a few extra cuddles with the kids before we attempt to unpack the Luton van — which currently resembles the world’s most complicated game of Tetris! 🤣

So, for once, we’ve taken a little pressure off ourselves. We’ve remembered to breathe, to have a slower morning, cuddle our babies and accept that everything doesn’t have to be done at once. ❤️

BUT CAMBRIDGE IS OPEN! 🎉 until 7PM!

Our gorgeous Cambridge team are there, doors open and ready to welcome you for a swell time — so pop in, have a browse and let them look after you. 💃🏻🛍️

Bury will be back — once we’ve located our voices, our legs… and the bottom of that Luton van. 😂

Thank you SO much for the phenomenal support this weekend. We’re tired, achy and incredibly grateful. ❤️

don’t think I’ll ever get used to this feeling… 🥹❤️

Seeing our dresses out in the wild, being worn, loved and twirled around a big event like this is honestly quite overwhelming.

For the first time, I’ve been able to look around and spot Pocket Watch & Petticoats dresses walking past me… not on a photoshoot, not hanging in one of our shops, not on my phone screen but on real women, out enjoying themselves, looking absolutely BLOODY BEAUTIFUL in something that started as an idea in my head. 🥹 And I feel so incredibly proud.

Proud of our little independent brand.
Proud of my wonderful team.
Proud of every collection we’ve created, every risk we’ve taken and every hurdle we’ve somehow managed to get over.

But more than anything, I feel humbled. Because none of this happens without YOU. Every time you choose to spend your hard-earned money with our small business, wear one of our dresses, tell somebody where it’s from, tag us in a photograph, pop into one of our shops or come and find us at an event… you are helping this little dream of ours continue.

Seeing so many of you wearing PWP at Retro Fest has genuinely stopped me in my tracks a few times. ❤️

Eleven years ago, I could never have imagined standing at a big event and watching women walk past me wearing our label. OUR dresses. 🥹 That bit gets me.

So if you’ve worn our dresses this weekend, wherever you have been, please know that I notice you. I have a fan girl moment every time I spot one 😂 and I am enormously grateful that, out of all the clothes you could have chosen to wear, you chose something we designed.

Thank you for allowing me to do something I absolutely adore. Thank you for supporting independent. And thank you for making me feel very, very proud of our little brand today. ❤️
