These lovely table napkins are hand spun, dyed and woven out of the finest organic Kala cotton by artisans in Kutch, Gujarat, in Northern India.

Kala cotton is a purely rain fed crop indigenous to Kutch that has a high tolerance to disease and pests allowing farmers to grow it without the use of pesticides or artificial fertiliser.

They come in four colours, or a mixed set, and each set contains 4 napkins.

We have some beautiful light cotton, block printed sets as well as two new heavier cotton long sets.

The very popular goofy cat pyjamas, Nekomata, are almost sold out and we only have small size left.

We have our 1st show of the autumn tomorrow in Walthamstow 11am-5pm so come on down and say hello.

It’s been a difficult summer for The Lesser Gods and for our suppliers from Rajasthan and Gujarat.

Due to excessive flooding, and being let down by incompetent new suppliers, we have not had any of our new stock and have lost a few wholesale orders.
Still our hearts are with those who’ve lost livelihoods and worse due to the floods. Not getting stock is a minor thing in comparison.

Our new summer pyjamas have finally arrived, a tad late, and some incredible Kala cotton napkins are on their way.
