IMPORTANT UPDATE FROM The Nu Wardrobe
This month, the top trend is… Self Isolation! And for very good reason, with the Covid-19 outbreak it’s important that all our Nuw members stay safe.
Now is not the time for clothes sharing and meeting up with wonderful members (those days will come again soon) but for now, we have some top tips for all of you who are currently borrowing or lending a piece.
Advice on on-going borrows:
- If you have borrowed a piece and need to return it we advise you to contact the lender and see if they REALLY need it in the short term. (Some of us love the glam working from home life, no judging here!)
-If you have lent a piece, drop the borrower a note if it’s ok for them to keep it for a little while until we know it’s safe to return.
- If a lender needs a piece to be returned we encourage that you do not meet-up in person if possible. Drop it in their letter box if you can walk there or send via post.
Advice on future borrows:
- For borrows coming up in the short term, you can cancel these in the DM section of the app by clicking the 3 dots in the right-hand corner of the chat.
- Feel bad about cancelling a borrow? Don’t. THERE IS A CORONAVIRUS! We have the rest of time to borrow.
