These fabulous handmade knee-length dresses are made in our workshop in Canterbury. They are cut from a lightweight, 100% organic Indian cotton fabric.

The dress, designed by Lucy, the owner, showcases a V-neck front and back, patch pockets, and is gathered on the sides. The skirt length hits just above the knee.

Stylish and versatile enough to wear anywhere from beach to High Street, drinks and dinner. A wardrobe staple that floats like a butterfly on a summer breeze.

As these dresses are made in-house, we do offer a bespoke alteration service. Do you prefer it longer? It is a bit too tight on the chest? Don’t worry, we got you. Just pop in to our store, try it on, and we’ll take the necessary measurements to make you a dress in which you’ll feel comfortable and incredible!

Tell us the best sewing tip you’ve ever received in the comments!!

We’ll give you ours:
Lucy’s tip: You cant make fabric do what you want it to do, learn how to work with it, learn how to talk to it. All fabrics are different, in terms of how they feel, how they sew, and how they’re meant work on a garment, so get to know your fabrics.

Nour’s tip: Use relevant machine feet, especially when it comes to gathering. There are machine feet for hemming, gathering, bias binding, beads. Save yourself time and sanity and get all the feet!

Stella’s tip: If you don’t know what you’re doing, don’t do it. If you don’t understand how the pattern works, if you don’t understand how the garment is supposed to be on your body, familiarise yourself with that first, because if you don’t it’s going to lead to a lot of frustration and unpicking.
