YARN & COPPER was established by British artist David Bateman and Ai Bateman. Ai has a background in fashion, traveling globally as a buyer. David's artwork is inspired by British culture and distressed textures,
creating his own unique style. Most of our designs are a mixture of Illustration, painting, photography and graphics. All of ou
r production is based in Japan. We would like to support local businesses and we believe
that Japanese production is of a high standard. We try to use environmentally friendly materials where we can.

またコットン素材は、シルクのような風合いでとても柔らかいフェアトレードのオーガニックコットン(bioRE / Swiss Cotton Organic) を使用。
からだにも環境にも負荷をなるべくかけずに、
毎日がアートに囲まれるような、そんなCOOLなアイテムを作っていきます。
