As we approach retirement we have decided it is now time to close our business in March 2026, We have always aimed to bring a wide range of affordable, attractive and fashionable styles of ladies wear to the area and also provide a convenient out of town service. In recent years this has been made increasingly difficult due to the actions of the council.

Restrictions on parking, one-way streets and ever increasing business rates have made it increasingly hard to operate as a small retailer if we intend to provide quality merchandise to our clients at an affordable rate whilst remaining a viable business

Regrettably we have witnessed the transition of Wellfield Road from a high-end retail Street to that of a café quarter which has effectively deprived local residents from having a quality out of town shopping area.

Whilst we have enjoyed our many years of successfully operating in the area, we regret that as ever more shops close, the road is no longer the ‘go to’ destination for quality shopping and is now predominantly comprised of cafes and other eateries..
we wish to thank our customers for their kind and loyal support over the past 27 years , many of whom have become good friends. We will miss seeing you and wish you all the best.
