Some pieces are created to complete an outfit. Others become part of a memory.

It was an absolute pleasure to create this bespoke headpiece for Janine Roberts Janine, mother of the bride, to wear with her beautiful Jenny Packham gown on her daughter’s wedding day.

The soft blush tones, delicate sparkle and sweeping feather were designed to complement the elegance of her dress while giving the look its own sense of movement, femininity and individuality.

Alongside her daughter Maddy Hambling wearing Suzanne Neville, Janine looked every inch the elegant mother of the bride — beautifully connected, yet completely herself. 🤍

Receiving these beautiful photographs from Janine after the wedding, and hearing that she loved her headpiece and received so many compliments, truly means the world to me.

Thank you, Janine, for trusting me to create such a special piece for such an important day, and for allowing me to be a small part of this beautiful family celebration.

Seeing a bespoke piece come to life, and then become part of someone’s most treasured memories, is one of the greatest privileges of my work.

Sophie Sedgwick Mother of the Bride, wearing a bespoke headpiece created exclusively for Ava Manning Ava’s wedding.

Sculpted in soft ivory, the piece was designed around Sophie’s elegant ensemble, with a delicate architectural silhouette, ethereal featherwork and hand-placed pearl details.

Every line, every detail and every proportion was considered to create something that belonged uniquely to her.

For me, bespoke millinery is about more than making a beautiful hat. It is about creating a piece that becomes part of a moment — and, years later, brings that moment back to life.

For us, straw belongs to the world of vintage glamour — worn with fur, velvet, satin, tailoring… and attitude.
