The independent clothing brand known for its standout style and sustainability. Our motto is, 'Live true.' That means being true to yourself in doing what makes you happy, and it also means being true to the world. We find the balance between these things by offering standout clothing that inspires you to be bold and daring, and it is clothing that is ethical, good for the people who made it, and

sustainable for the planet. Rhetorik was created by a group of Cardiff University students who were inspired by underground music and festival culture and an eclectic range of lifestyle influences to create a brand that encourages integrity without compromise on style. We want people who identify with our ethos to wear Rhetorik knowing that it is distinctive and that you are making a statement of style and sustainability with us. Our clothing is ethical as f**k. It is organic and made in an ethically accredited, wind powered factory. The word ‘f**k’ features in our branding because we struggle to resonate with those who have a problem with the word f**k and yet are happy to fuel a consumerism which causes other people and the planet to suffer, such as unfair working conditions in poorer countries, and huge environmental impact from cheap production. It is our way of saying, let’s look at the bigger picture.

1 MILLION tonnes of contaminated radioactive water is due to be released into the Japanese sea soon.

This is catastrophic for the environment, the livelihoods of those living in Fukushima and biodiversity in the area.

Local media say release could begin in 2022 and would take decades to complete, but local fishermen say move will destroy their industry
