Carloway Harris Tweed Ltd. Visitors are invited to call in to meet the weaver, Norman Mackenzie, and see this iconic cloth being produced on a traditional Hattersley loom.

Passing through the village of Carloway, on the West side of Lewis, our visitors can call in to Parkhouse and meet the weaver. Crofter Norman MacKenzie is one of the last Lewis weavers still using the historic Hattersley single width loom to produce this world famous, iconic cloth by hand. Come and enjoy the sight and sound of Harris Tweed being woven in the traditional manner and choose from a wi

de selection of tweed, which can be purchased either by length or ready made into scarved and shawls. All of our tweeds are certified with the Orb trademark which guarantees genuine 100% wool.
