There's plenty of action on every level at the busy Park & Play Garage, where a working lift hauls the cars up to the parking spaces. A service centre, car wash and petrol pump keeps things buzzing on the ground floor, while a down-ramp with lifting barrier provides vehicles with a swift exit when it's time for home. There is even a helipad at the top to park your helicopter! Little drivers will have fun winching-up the cars in the working lift and zooming them down the ramp back to the lower level before heading for home. Meet Barney & Beau 🖤

These two little monkeys are the boys behind the brand & like all mums the reason I do pretty much any of what I do on a daily a basis.

I started B&B after separating from their Dad, when they were only 9 weeks & 1. To say it was a tough time would be an understatement but as taught by my lovely mum in the face of adversity you rise like a motherf* to take back control.

So out of the ashes of my marriage rose my business & my boys (August 17).
Since launching it hasn’t been as smooth as hoped with my cherished mum getting cancer in early 2018 & being very poorly until she sadly lost her battle in July 2019. I lost my mojo for most things including the business & gave up my store to deal with the loss & grieve.

Trying hard to bounce back in Oct 19 thinking of what my mum would say if she was here I managed to have a productive Xmas & hoped throwing myself back in helped give me some other focus.

Then as I was getting back on my feet Covid hit 🤦🏽‍♀️ so obvs I’m not alone in this as so many businesses have suffered but & with no chance of furlough & no financial assistance from the government & trying to manage the business, kids, home schooling & maintain sanity alone I was freaking out.

Now I’m here considering where we go from here but I guess the only way is forward & to start building again. 💪🏽🖤

I guess the reason I’m writing this post is to say to anyone struggling that you’re not alone. I prefer to project positivity & always smile but never underestimate what is going on behind the smile of even your most positive friend.

I honestly wish so much luck to all businesses fighting back this week and the subsequent weeks ahead.
