Watutsi A textile artist for over 30 years, celebrating my love of vintage textiles, clothing, upholstery fabrics and prints especially from the mid century era.

I have designed and made some bags, coin purses, and spectacle cases out of vintage/ preloved/used fabrics that were previous curtains,cushion covers or used in dressmaking
Bags are in 2 sizes:
36cm width by 24cm
& 36cm width by 30cm
(Not including handles)
Giving beautiful fabrics a new lease of life in a creative way. Each bag is fully lined, with bamboo handles, has an inner pocket and strap a

cross for security. Bags are showerproofed for use in inclement weather

I acquired this lovely vintage bark cloth from a wonderful lady in Aberfoyle.

I just love it when you find a gorgeous fabric and immediately visualise what it will look like as a dress.

Then the thrill of bringing your ideas to life. From designing, to pattern drafting to making.

Still deciding on a few finishes including the belt , but loving what I have achieved so far
