I always say, it’s a bad day if you don’t learn something…
Long story short - My Granny Annie always spoke about a sixpence and a threepence. And I never truly believed these were a thing. (I’m the problem, I know). And at this market this was the first I’d actually seen one. Thought it was pretty cool.

July, you were good to me. 🤍

Behind a small business, July looked a little different.

There was lots of travelling, lots of good food, plenty of laughs, and memories I’ll treasure for a lifetime.

This summer, I made a conscious decision to step back from work a little more than I normally would. Instead of feeling guilty for taking time away from BABA, I chose to be present, spend time with the people I love, and simply enjoy the season.

Of course, there was still work happening behind the scenes.
But as my dad always says, “Make hay while the sun shines.”
This year, I took that to mean making memories while the sun was shining too. ☀️

Running a small business is incredible, but it’s so important to remember that you matter too. You can’t pour from an empty cup, and taking time to recharge isn’t falling behind, it’s what allows you to keep showing up with passion.

If you’ve been waiting for a sign to take a day off, book the trip, have the coffee date or spend time with your favourite people… this is it. 🤍

I absolutely loved July, but I’m excited for August.
It’s time to get back into routine, refocus, and get ready for the busy winter season (the late nights are coming! 😅).

Thank you for being here and supporting this little dream of mine. It means more than you’ll ever know.
