🍻 HOP FESTIVAL CHARTER MARKET – SOMETHING SPECIAL IS BREWING THIS YEAR! 🍻
The hops are going up, the town is getting ready and this weekend Faversham Hop Festival is back!
And this year, we're bringing a few new flavours, new faces and new additions to the Charter Market area of the Festival - alongside some very familiar favourites.
Across Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th September, from 9am to 5.30pm, you'll find the Charter Market in The Arcade beneath the Guildhall and all along Court Street - packed with stalls, food, drink and plenty that we're bringing to Hop Festival for the first time this year.
🍔 SMOQE joins us from Rochester, bringing the gourmet burgers that have helped earn their restaurant such a great reputation.
🍸 The Bohemian brings something rather different to our part of the Festival – a cocktail bar with an artistic twist.
🔮 Liz Almond Tarot Reader returns by popular demand after proving such a hit at our Victorian Whitsun Fair.
🍺 And, well... it is Hop Festival! SIPS Beer Club will be joining us with a new and expanded craft beer bar and taproom, while Time & Tide Taphouse – aka The Bank – brings its own range of un-fined craft beers, accompanied by genuine Italian pizza, right outside their pub!
Then there's the food...
🥐 The Croffle Club has rapidly become a Saturday Charter Market favourite with its Korean street-food combination of croissant and waffle – sweet or savoury.
🍎 Crumble Cups does exactly what the name promises: real fruit crumble in a cup, finished with a dollop of vanilla ice cream. Sometimes the simplest ideas really are the best!
Licks & Sips - Laura will be bringing her ICE CREAM trike and will be under the Guildhall opposite Café Guild and Granny's Kitchen (Sat only) - home of the most amazing sausage roll you'll ever eat will also be in the Arcade too.
🌴 And two old friends are coming back especially for the weekend. The lovely Aime and Lurencia of PERFECT CARIBBEAN return by popular demand, as does Jordi – the BIG PAN Paella King, with those enormous pans that are almost an attraction in themselves!
