You don’t have to settle for the loose black tunic for the third time this week to hide your tummy.
After 4.5 years in business, I’ve seen so many women get stuck in the cycle of buying a size up just so the fabric won’t touch their skin.
Here is what I look for instead.
An elasticated waistband.
It gives you the comfort you’re craving when you’re sitting down at the pub, but it keeps the shape of the garment so you don’t look like you’re wearing a tent.
A cotton top that can be nipped in at the waist.
Instead of drowning in fabric, use a soft cotton that lets you create a slight tuck. It draws the eye to your waist rather than focusing on the tummy area.
Natural fabrics.
Cotton and quality blends move with you, so you aren’t constantly hopping and tugging to get things sitting right.
It’s about dressing the woman you are right now, not the one you think you have to hide.
