‘This will never last.’

Some things just aren’t meant to.

After 13 years, The Union Project has closed the doors at its Cambray Place store, leaving us without a physical presence in Cheltenham for the first time in over a decade.

It’s a strange mixture of feelings.

We’d have liked a little more time to see Cambray Place off properly, but circumstances didn’t afford us that luxury, and that’s fine.

To our Cheltenham customers: thank you. You are, and have always been, the most enjoyable part of having a physical space. We apologise for the interruption, but can assure you it’s the right move for the long-term future of the business.

We continue to trade online and hope to be able to share news with you in the coming weeks and months about a reopening at a new site in Cheltenham.

Thank you for your continued support over the years.

To the small team of hardworking, humble and committed individuals who have built, grown and nurtured the business over the years: thank you. You know who you are.

And to the Cotswold Cowboys (and Cowgirls) we’ve had the pleasure, and occasional displeasure, of meeting and working with along the way: well, it’s certainly made for some colourful stories.

Not our first rodeo. Almost certainly not our last.

Other than currently being online only - thanks, pandemic, for the test run - it’s business as usual.

We’ve set up free local shipping for our existing customers, applied automatically at checkout.

Cambray Place may finally, and in some ways thankfully, be over.

The Union Project isn’t.

Taking inspiration from Australia's unique blend of surf, street and motorcycle culture, Deus Ex Machina has always understood that the best clothing starts with purpose. Long before technical fabrics became commonplace, the brand was championing lightweight mesh jerseys and performance-driven silhouettes designed for life outdoors.

There's a simple philosophy at play: if something looks built for movement, it probably should be. And few places understand that balance between function and lifestyle quite like Australia.

This season sees Deus deliver one of its strongest jersey collections to date, drawing inspiration from both motocross and football culture. Lightweight, breathable and built with warmer days in mind, they're pieces that feel just as at home on the road, by the coast, or wherever the sunshine happens to take you.

There are plenty of brands making clean, contemporary menswear right now, but few have carved out a visual identity as distinct as Arte Antwerp. Founded by Bertony Da Silva, the label emerged from Antwerp's creative scene with a simple premise: combine art, culture and everyday clothing without overcomplicating any of it.

Over the years, Arte has become known for doing the fundamentals exceptionally well. Relaxed silhouettes, strong graphics, thoughtful colour palettes and collections that feel informed by everything from photography and music to travel and architecture. There's an ease to the brand that resonates - never overly conceptual, never chasing hype, just consistently delivering clothes that feel relevant to how people actually dress.

For Summer 2025, Arte turns its attention to football. A recurring source of inspiration across fashion, the beautiful game continues to influence how we think about sportswear beyond the pitch. This seasons shirts capture just that. Cut from lightweight performance fabric and finished with bold asymmetric colour blocking, it borrows the visual language of vintage football shirts while remaining unmistakably Arte. Familiar enough to tap into football nostalgia, but modern enough to feel at home in a contemporary wardrobe.
After a rapid sell-out last month, the re-stocks just landed fresh from Belgium.

Nostalgia works when it still feels relevant. Traditional football references, modern ex*****on.
