All our glasses are original vintage frames from the early 1950's to 1990's, are completely unworn and in many instances one of a kind. We fit all our frames unless stated with brand new CR39 UV400 lenses - a high quality UK standard lens. With full UV-A and UV-B (99%) these lenses are both lightweight and effective against the sun, making them perfect for everyday wear. The majority of our frames

have been manufactured by hand in France, Italy, Germany, Austria or America. All our frames are hand-checked and adjusted by our optical dispensary team to ensure quality and functionality. All our glasses can be used as prescription frames and we offer a full optical service. If you wish to add a prescription lenses / lenses in other colours then please get in touch and we would be happy to discuss potential options.

All of our frames you see on our website are now one of a kind. They are the original frame made back in the 70s to the early 90s.

Our team checks each and every frame and if they aren't brand new, we don't add them to our collection. During the checking process we assess whether new lenses are needed as storage can sometimes be a little rough on frames and send them to our specialist technician who gives them a new lease of life.

These Alpinas were made in the 80's and were found in a storage container in Italy amongst a load of other unworn frames.
