So for all you small business owners out there… I’m a mum that runs a small business…it’s just me! I’m seeing all these advert for claiming back money for people who worked at supermarkets and claiming this and that, but what I will never get over is the Covid Loan!!! I had to shut my business and claimed the loan and grants that the Government offered to stay afloat but I am still paying off this loan the Government took it all back in Tax!!!! wow but no one is shouting about the self employed being wronged I really am blessed that I’m still afloat many of my suppliers are not but nothing is ever said or mentioned how badly the government treated us I wonder how many millions were never paid back in the loans? It’s about time the self employed got better help I worked till 3 days before I gave birth and went back to work two weeks after this wasn’t by choice it was to keep my business going. I’m lucky I have an amazing family behind me but it’s about time the Government appreciated the self employed and small businesses and gave them a break!
