And it's a wrap. LOVED this recycling challenge. I took 2 pairs of my husband's worn out jeans and original army trousers to create these pretty wild 80's looking crops. I kept original features from the army trousers-the pockets,belt loops - and repositioned to create interest, adding the jeans waistbands to the hems. I topstitched all individual panels in blue to tie all 3 blocks together. Styled here with a previous upcycled army jacket. Not intentional, but I have a new chic suit 😁.

Received this fun sewing kit for Christmas. It's the slipper kit from . It was on my wishlist having seen Brogan from showing hers.
The kit comes in a shoe box with all elements precut and punched for you to create your own unique sheepskin slippers, even a cute little dust bag to keep the bits together whilst making. A handy YouTube sew along helps out if you get stuck (I had to check which way up the fur trim went). Being honest.....the fur trim is so dense if I'd got it wrong I'm not sure you'd notice 🤣. Although not technically challenging, they require a bit of effort when you come to stitching the upper to the sole through all the layers whilst holding down the binding. But take your time and enjoy the process and it all comes together beautifully. If you're looking for a different,fun gift for the creative in your life, I would highly recommend this little kit. The crazy trim and rainbow motif make smile whenever I look at my feet.

New pattern test😍 The Freya shirt by . The perfect oversized shirt with the right amount of feminine detail. This was such a great make. Detailed, clear instructions, great visuals and a few new techniques for me. Fabric is Minerva exclusive viscose challis "happy harbour ".This is already a favourite with more lined up in the cutting table ☺️. Pattern launching soon .....

Spring is in the air (🤞🏻). Ready for it anyway with this latest make. It's the . Such a versatile pattern can be made as a blouse or dress, with or without buttons and with straight sleeves or these amazing puff sleeves..... I'm all about lux sleeves. Maison Fauve designs are just so chic. Teamed with this utterly gorgeous soft drapey viscose from in a grown up ditsy print. The shades of teal and pink are perfect. I feel the need for a prosecco lunch ....🤣🤣🤣🤣🤷🏼
