💛✨ Meet Ella ✨💛
Ella came to us for her prom dress alterations, and what a beautiful transformation it was!
To achieve the perfect fit, we carefully took the dress in through the zip, added bust cups for extra support and comfort, and shortened the gown from side to side to preserve its elegant train. This involved shortening four cut layers and two sewn layers, ensuring the dress maintained its stunning shape and graceful flow.
Her beautiful soft lemon ballgown featured a romantic sweetheart neckline, a structured corset bodice adorned with delicate 3D floral lace appliqués, and a full flowing tulle skirt with a breathtaking train. The intricate floral detailing cascaded from the bodice into the skirt, creating a timeless and elegant look from every angle.
With the alterations complete, Ella's dress fit beautifully and looked as though it had been made especially for her. She looked absolutely radiant, and we couldn't be happier with the finished result. 💛

Faith came to us for her prom dress alterations, where we shortened the length and took the dress in through the sides to create the perfect fit.
Her stunning soft lemon gown featured a beautifully structured corset bodice with delicate ruching, sparkling embellishment to the front, and layers upon layers of flowing ruffles that created a dramatic full skirt with a stylish thigh-high split. It was already a beautiful dress, but with the alterations completed, it now fits as though it was made especially for her.
The end result is simply breathtaking – Faith looks absolutely incredible and wears the dress so beautifully. 💛

A Polite Notice to Our Customers

Firstly, we’d like to apologise for the negative nature of this post, as it’s not something we would usually share.

Over the last few weeks, we have noticed an increase in customers coming into the shop and speaking to our team in a rude or disrespectful manner regarding our current turnaround times.

We completely understand that waiting isn’t ideal, especially when you only have a small alteration that needs doing. We often hear comments such as, “But it’s only a small alteration – it shouldn’t take that long.”

The reality is, you’re absolutely right – many small alterations don’t take very long to complete. However, when we have hundreds of garments in the workshop, many of which are also “small alterations”, they all have to be completed in the order they are booked in. It wouldn’t be fair on the customers who have already trusted us with their garments if we continually moved new work ahead of theirs.

We believe in being honest from the start about our turnaround times. While we know it can be disappointing if we’re unable to fit your alteration in, we’d rather be upfront than promise something we can’t deliver. If we accepted every job without explaining our current workload, customers would quite rightly be frustrated if their garments weren’t ready when expected.

We are always happy to help wherever we can, but we do ask that our staff are treated with the same courtesy and respect that they show every customer who walks through our door.

Finally, we’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has been patient, understanding, and supportive during our busiest periods. Your kindness and continued support never go unnoticed, and we truly appreciate every single one of you.
