Hi! I'm Jess,
Though it may not look it, I've been sewing for over a decade. My grandma used rto make wedding and bridesmaid dresses and taught me to sew when I was 5 years old. I started with finger puppets nad hand sewing, progressing to making outfits for my teddies with a machine, before helping out with my grandma's dressmaking by the time I was 16.
Now I mostly stick to repairs on people's favourite clothes - why throw something away when I can extend it's life? I've altered clothes for all shapes and sizes across the ages - including school uniforms and even my mum's wedding dress!
