Gisburn Primary School PTA are holding a Christmas Market at the White Bull, Gisburn. We are looking for local businesses who may wish to hire a stall.
We are also looking for raffle prizes if anyone would like to donate something fancy! :)

That’s it! Hedgehog and Pear is now closed for business!
Thank you for making it a truly magical experience. But as the world of education inevitably lured me back in (once a teacher, always a teacher!) the tuition business just grew wings and needed space to spread them!
We are staying in the premises and using the entire space for our education services. Please follow our other account for updates on our progress!

Goodbye from Hedgehog and Pear!
50% off all stock this weekend!

It's happened more quickly than we anticipated when we first moved, but our sister company Northern Sky Education Ltd has grown so rapidly that we need the space! Our Moor Lane premises will now be used solely by Northern Sky to provide tuition for students of all ages and the retail store will close this Saturday.

Thank you for two wonderful years, it's been heartwarming to meet such lovely families, and we hope to see your children back with us if they ever need any help with exams!

Hedgehog and Pear walked so could run!

As you may know. we have been running two businesses from our new premises on Moor Lane, and the time has come to say goodbye to one of them. Our tuition agency, Northern Sky Education, has really grown wings of late and needs the space to spread them! Therefore, we have decided to close Hedgehog and Pear on the 22nd December and devote the space and time to our tuition company.
We have had a lovely time over the past couple of years in the shop. We've loved seeing your babies arrive and grow and we've made some wonderful new friends too. The time is right for us to evolve though, and we are really excited about developing our education business.
We'd also like to salute the amazing independent retailers of Clitheroe who made us so incredibly welcome when we opened .

Our closing down sale begins this Thursday and will continue until 22nd December - or when we sell out!
All retail loyalty points and any outstanding gift vouchers should be redeemed prior to when we close on 22nd December.

The high school teacher in me is always proud to see young people doing amazing things, so when we met recently and saw her beautiful designs, we were excited to host her at !

These sets of hair clips are now in stock at £5 each for a pack of 8 handmade clips. They are made by Scarlett here in the Ribble Valley (ignore the made in china on the card - it’s just the card!)

Our little girl starts primary school this Monday (sob!) so as her two first days are half days, we will be closed Monday and Tuesday this week - while I use the time to clear the house out of the summer holiday crafting activities!

We will reopen on Wednesday as normal.
