We love bringing the outside in using botanical fabrics and subtle colours when it’s feeling a little grey out.

“Can you get this fabric?”

This is a question we hear a lot, but this one was a bit of a challenge!

The story of how this stool almost didn’t happen...

Our customer fell in LOVE with this fabric the moment she saw it in the workshop.
The catch? We didn’t stock it and had no idea what brand it was!
A little detective work later (thank you reverse image search and a whole lot of patience), we tracked it down, ordered it in, and our upholsterer worked their magic.

Lesson: Never be afraid to ask for what you are really looking for… as we will do everything we can to make it happen.

Our vote for the most underrated thread colour? 🧵

What we at Aconite Interiors affectionately refer to as Mingly Mushroom (although the official name might just be beige 😂).

This humble spool is an absolute godsend when you’re working with tricky colour combinations.

Not glamorous… Not exciting… BUT incredibly useful!

Did you know you should size up on your cushion inner? 🤔

Why?
Because a slightly larger inner gives your cushion that full, plump and luxurious look rather than appearing flat or underfilled - no one wants a sad flat cushion 😳.
The extra size helps properly fill to the corners and supports the overall shape of the cushion.
