Here at Nimmi's Boutique we have always tried to keep the pricing of our goods at fair competitive prices and have refrained from increasing the prices of them.

However due to council demanding an extra £300 a month in business rates on top of what we already pay them unfortunately the price of some items will increase.

I'm not actually sure what the business rates we pay to the council do, as they really do nothing to help further the development of the Belvior shopping centre

You ask the council for help as you're a small independent business and the reply you get is "sorry we can't help, the only advice we can give you is to move out of the shopping centre" then people wonder why there are so many empty shops in the shopping centre, people always blame the high rents, however my rent is fine and manageable, it's the governments business rates that are killers
