Just over two months married, and what a beautiful bride the lovely Hollie was!

I had the pleasure of carrying out the alterations to Hollie’s stunning lace Essence of Australia fitted gown. As Hollie is petite, I lifted the waistline to ensure it sat perfectly in the right place and complemented her figure beautifully.

Her gown originally featured a sheer back, but Hollie wanted a little more coverage, so I lined the back bodice in ivory to blend seamlessly with the rest of the dress. I also shortened the gown and took it in to create the perfect fit for her special day.

Thank you so much for trusting me with your beautiful wedding dress, Hollie. It was such a pleasure having you and your lovely mum in for your fittings.

Here we have the lovely Victoria, who looked absolutely incredible on her wedding day back in May.

We had the pleasure of carrying out the alterations to Victoria’s gorgeous ballgown, featuring beautiful lace and delicate 3D floral detailing. We also altered her lovely mum’s dress, it was a pleasure to be part of such a special occasion.

How unreal did the lovely Lauren look on her incredible wedding day in beautiful Greece?

When Lauren first bought her dress, it fitted perfectly. After an amazing weight loss journey, however, her gown was hanging on her and she contacted me in a panic, worried it couldn’t be altered.

Challenge accepted! ✂️

Lauren’s stunning Essence of Australia lace gown needed to be taken in, not only through the side seams but also down the bustline to achieve the perfect fit. (Inches were taken out of her gown) I also created finer straps and added delicate lace appliqués that blended seamlessly with the original design, giving the dress an even softer, more elegant finish.

The end result was a gown that looked as though it had been made especially for her. Lauren, you looked absolutely breathtaking, and it was such a pleasure to be part of your bridal journey. Thank you for trusting me with your beautiful dress. Congratulations to you both, wishing you and your beautiful little family many years of love and happiness 🤍🤍🤍.

✨We Are Fifteen✨

15 years of blood, sweat, tears… and more late nights than I care to count!

15 years ago today, I officially became self-employed and began building the business I have today. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine I’d be this busy. Some days I actually miss a 40-hour working week — it feels part-time compared to the hours I put in now! 😩

To all my past, present and future brides and customers, thank you. It has been an absolute privilege to be part of your special occasions and to meet so many wonderful people along the way.

A huge thank you to all the lovely ladies in the bridal shops who have recommended me over the years. Your support and trust mean the world.

And of course, a massive thank you to my little helpers working away behind the scenes. I genuinely couldn’t do it without you all.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your continued support over the last 15 years. Here’s to the next chapter! 🤍🤍🤍

Loved having the gorgeous Aimee and her lovely mum in for fittings ahead of her big day.

I had the pleasure of carrying out the alterations and customisations to Aimee’s stunning lace and crepe wedding gown.

What we did…

Aimee had sourced some beautiful scalloped lace, which I carefully added to the train of her gown to create a more detailed finish. I also incorporated matching lace into the back of the dress to provide a little extra coverage while keeping everything beautifully in keeping with the original design. In addition to these changes I added covered buttons the whole way down the train.

Alongside these custom changes, I also made a plain fingertip-length tulle veil to complete her bridal look perfectly.

Thank you, Aimee, for trusting me with your dress. It was such a pleasure to be part of your bridal journey, and you looked absolutely beautiful.

Loved having Lauren back in again — but this time it was for her own special day!

I think you’ll all agree that she looked absolutely incredible. We had the pleasure of carrying out the alterations to Lauren’s stunning embellished fitted gown by Mila Nova, complete with a removable satin bodice and overskirt that made for the perfect bridal transformation. We also altered her beautiful lemon satin bridesmaids’ dresses.

How beautiful was Donna on her special day?

We had the pleasure of carrying out the alterations to Donna’s fabulous wedding gown, as well as her lovely mum’s ivory dress.

Donna’s gown required quite a few adjustments to create the perfect fit. We removed and repositioned the sleeves so they sat beautifully on her shoulders, lifted the shoulder line, shortened the sleeves, and carried out the usual nips and tucks. Of course, we also shortened her stunning gown to the perfect length.

It was all worth it because Donna looked absolutely amazing on her wedding day. Thank you for choosing us to be a small part of your special day and for sharing your beautiful photographs with us.

✨6 month update on the signature board✨

For a few years I had my wedding globe filled with the names and wedding dates of my wonderful brides. This year I decided to change things up with a signature board.

Every signature represents a couples special day and I’m so grateful to have been a small part of so many wedding journeys. Thank you to every bride who has trusted me with their dress and taken the time to leave your mark.

Don’t forget to send me some pictures so I can create a post showing off how fabulous you all looked. Thanks to all who’ve already sent pics…(I’ve been a bit slow on sharing these lately).

The front is now completely full… so it’s time to start filling the back for the rest of 2026! ✨
