Do cloth nappies affect my baby’s development?
We’re getting to that stage where baby wants to move around, sit, crawl and eventually stand/ walk. If your baby is in cloth, you may have heard the comments too. ‘That’s going to restrict her movement’ and similar remarks. But that is just not the case.
Cloth nappies can actually encourage healthy hip positioning by keeping baby’s hips in a naturally flexed and wider position, similar to the position recommended for healthy hip development.
As long as baby can move their legs freely, roll, crawl and explore, there’s no reason to worry about a little extra fluff, and in fact, it provides the best soft landing for those inevitable falls!
