Absolute pleasure to help and meet this young man! Absolute super star! ⭐

I just wanted to give a big shout out and a huge thank you to glad rags fancy dress at coombe abbey in Coventry.

I popped in there today with my neurodivergent son who was on the hunt for some parody outfits!

the lady in the shop saw straight away how his mind works – she didn’t need labels or forms, she just saw his joy, his creativity, and how much he loves dressing up as pop stars and making his own videos.

She was naturally warm, patient and kind – and even invited him to come back and film his next parody video in her shop!

She obviously didn’t have to do that….
She wanted to, she chose to. ❤️

That’s the sort of kindness that restores your faith, isn’t it?

No agenda, no script – just seeing a person for exactly who they are and wanting to encourage them.

My boy bought a new ‘smooth criminal’ hat for his upcoming parody and I’m sure he’ll be a regular customer at this particular shop that made him feel so welcome and comfortable.
