We’ve officially had our first Christmas Fair ✨✨, so it’s acceptable to get out the Christmas tunes 🎶….

What a wonderful day with in her gorgeous studio in the heart of Etal Village with the first (hopefully of many!) .

Thank you to all who popped to visit and shop despite the rain! It wouldn’t be a quintessential Northumbrian Christmas Fair without some rain or snow!

It was a hoot seeing old small-business friends again and a delight meeting some new! This is one of the core reasons I&R is still going, it’s a pleasure to amongst such a great group of businesses and people!

THANK YOU to all who bought from us, it’s a pleasure to see our items still being loved and chosen as gifts after so many years!

Christmas is fast approaching, I’ll be updating the website with updated stock levels, as well as bringing out some BRAND-SPANKIN’-NEW Recycled Denim Tote Bags and Organic Cotton Corduroy Caps….join our mailing list to be the first to hear when they’re launching 😎.

Embracing traditional Nordic styling, our Cheviot Wool Jumper is a good ol’ favourite you’ll reach for year-on-year. Crafted in British wool, it is a timeless, comforting woollie to be worn and loved.

Good morning lovely people! There has recently been an influx of new followers, so I thought it was about time I re-introduced myself and welcome you to my small business journey ✨💁🏻‍♀️❤️

Hi all! I’m Amie, the not-so-experienced person behind Ivy & Rigg 👋🏻

It took me quite a while to come out and say that, I’ve come along way over the past 5 years with myself and I&R. I can’t quite believe we’re still going! A few fun facts…

🌿 I have been born and raised in Northumberland, leaving briefly for uni, travelling and my second job out of uni. I realised how much I loved the county only when I left, and now here we are!
🌿 I work full-time in climate change, carbon and international development. This was my childhood dream, to protect the environment and help people who haven’t had the same opportunities as me.
🌿 I never dreamt or imagined building my own small business, I&R has been the biggest surprise in my life so far.
🌿 I’ve had my ups and downs, turns and twists over the years, but my passion for my mission hasn’t wavered. Without that, I wouldn’t still be here today.
🌿 We plant a tree with every order placed to help support reforestation

I did a lot of thinking at the start of the year, this came after the busiest year ever last year and I ended it feeling burnt out and a bit lost with everything. I went right back to basics with what I want I&R to be helping and came up with 4 core ethos ….
