Thule have a reputation for creating practical and high quality equipment for active families. We couldn’t be happier with the Thule Glide 3 stroller and use it tonnes. With living an outdoor lifestyle in the Lakes, there was no doubt that we needed a stroller that could go over rough terrain. It was also super important to me that I had a running stroller - but I didn’t want to have two separate ones. I could shout about SO many things I love about this stroller so I have popped a few of my favourites below.
🌿It handles like a dream !! It is soo smooth, extremely light to push (11.9kg!), it has hardy suspension and big air filled wheels which means that it glides over anything we throw at it.
🌿Flexibility. Need one stroller than can handle various activities? Sure thing. I love that the front wheel is rotational for daily use, this means that the stroller twists around in all directions effortlessly and doesn’t need to be manually rotated to turn (unlike buggy’s with a permanent locked front wheel). The front wheel can then be locked out for when you want to switch it into running mode. This gives the stroller ultimate flexibility.
🌿Sleek design & quality. Every inch of this stroller was clearly well thought out and the superb quality shows that it is made to last (Thule living up to their them!). One of my favourite features is the twist handbrake built into the handlebar that can be operated with one hand which is great for all of the hills here in the Lakes. The overall sleek aesthetics of the stroller speak for itself.
Yes, the price point is higher than many other 3-wheel strollers on the market, but I truly think you get what you pay for in terms of quality and design features. Thule products are built to last! If you’re an outdoor/active family who wants one stroller to get outdoors, running and/or walking and take your little one with you, then you will certainly get more than your moneys worth.
