Our Topponcino made new environments less of a shock to baby. Even though he was somewhere new, in a camp cot for the first time, he still had the same smell, and comfort as home with his Topponcino 🥰

Topponcino’s are made from 100% cotton wadding, and cotton muslin, all natural fibers and very breathable. Great even in this lovely warm weather ☀️ at about 1cm thick they are the perfect little extra layer to cushion baby and keep them feeling like they are being carried on a cloud 🥰 which is exactly what Maria Montessori wanted. You don’t have to be a qualified Montessori guide or even follow all the Montessori principles to use a Topponcino. Anyone who wanted to keep their newborn baby “bubble wrapped” safely can use one ☺️ and everyone can rest easy 😴

Movement area 🤸🏼‍♀️ this was a bit of a challenge with two under two but we did get some beautiful moments like this where baby was free to wiggle on our mat and toddler got to do some big movements and practice her balancing 🥰 she loves these balancing stones from 🤩

Do you have a movement area? How do you include big movements in your day?

It’s a bit more chaotic now with them both doing big movements 😅 but they like to play chase and climbing now, I’m sure they will soon be running and climbing and jumping and balancing together 🥰
