For all our local customers .... there's fabulous 10 year anniversary celebration for the Cockerton Community and Business Group in the "village" on 4th July. We are so grateful to the amazing team of volunteers run this group and give up their own time to organise such fantastic events for our local community, from the Easter Egg treasure hunt, to summer community dog show to October half-term activites and not forgetting the beautiful village Christmas tree. OPENING HOURS
(One Week Change)

Hi all, unfortunately we need to temporarily amend our opening times for one week, as follows....

Mon 29th - OPEN 10:30am to 4pm
Tues 30th - CLOSED
(Closed Wednesdays)
Thurs 2nd - OPEN 10am to 7pm
Fri 3rd - CLOSED
Sat 4th - OPEN 10:30am to 4pm
(Closed Sundays)

Thereafter our opening hours return to normal. We apologise for any inconvenience this temporary one-week change causes.

EXTREME HEATWAVE

Hi all, looks like we're in for a scorcher of a week. Hence worth reminding all customers that if your dress fitting isn't a priority (eg: your event isnt happening within the next few weeks), then best to reschedule your appointment until after the extreme heatwave. This is because as well as feeling clammy or sweaty (which causes fabric to stick to skin), the body can swell in heat resulting in problems with accurately fitting items.

Obviously for those with impending event dates postponing may not be an option. Therefore if you are having a dress fitting it's important to stay hydrated and cool as much as you can. Should you want to, you may bring a towel with you to your appointment so you can towel dry your skin when changing before putting your bridal/prom gown on to help reduce perspiration going onto your gown or causing fabric to stick to skin.

Hot weather can be challenging but here at Sense of Style our fabulous team will do all they can to keep calm, cool and carry on as best we can and help support our customers. Xx

☀ Bank Holiday ☀
🔥 Monday 25th May 🔥

Just a friendly reminder we will be closed on Monday to give our hard working team some much deserved time off for the bank holiday, but never fear, we will be reopen as normal, 10am to 7pm, on Tuesday 26th May. 🤗

One of our lovely shop neighbours (Pretty Knits Wool Shop) is in the papers .... very well deserved recognition and another amazing independent business worth supporting. (She also stocks crochet hooks perfect for using to fasten fiddley bridal dress buttons)! ;) 😘 xx
