Prom season 2026 - that’s a wrap! 🎓
And what a season it has been. From the very first appointment to the last dress walked out of our door, every single moment has been a privilege. Watching girl after girl find THE dress, seeing their faces light up, receiving those prom night photos , honestly, it never gets old and it never will.

To every single one of our prom girls this year , thank you. Thank you for trusting us with one of the most special nights of your life. Thank you to every mum, dad, auntie, uncle, sister , brother and friend who came along for the journey and made those fitting appointments so full of joy and laughter. You have no idea how much those moments mean to us on this side of the boutique.

This was our biggest and most beautiful prom season yet and that is entirely down to you. Your support, your kind words, your Google reviews, your photos , we treasure every single one.

Some moments in the shop stay with you , this was one of them. This beautiful mother and daughter duo have been part of our Dress Shop family for many, many years, and having them back in the shop last weekend for their wedding guest fittings was pure joy.

We styled mum in the most stunning dusty pink , adding sleeves to make it truly hers, effortless and perfect. And for her daughter, that baby blue was already flawless just as it was ; sometimes the dress needs nothing at all, just the right person wearing it.

Two generations, one gorgeous pastel palette, and so much love and energy brought into our fitting room. This is exactly why we do what we do. Thank you both for trusting us with your special day, and for sending us these gorgeous photos to treasure. 🥹

Hi Rosie… how many shades of blue have you got? And how many of those dresses go up to a size 22?💙

That was the phone call that started this bridesmaid look.

My answer? “I think I’ve got exactly what you need!” 😍

One gorgeous style that goes all the way up to a UK size 26, with around six or seven beautiful shades of blue to choose from.

Her response? “That’s what I want!” 💙

And THIS is what we’re going for! From the softest blues through to those gorgeous deeper shades , one style, one beautifully coordinated bridal party, but plenty of colour to play with.

The wedding is next week and I genuinely cannot wait to see the photos! 🥰💍

This bride came to us with a vision… well, almost a vision. 💍💙💚

She knew she was drawn to blues and greens, but choosing the colour? That was the tricky part.

So we started trying! Sky blue - beautiful. Royal blue- gorgeous. Sage green - definitely a contender.

And then came TEAL…

That was it. We had our colour. 😍

From there, we chose different dress styles to suit each bridesmaid individually because matching doesn’t have to mean identical. Same beautiful teal, different necklines and details, with each bridesmaid able to wear a style that felt right for her.

And seeing them all together? The bride’s vision suddenly made perfect sense. 💙

If you’re not quite sure what colour you want for your bridesmaids, come and try them. Sometimes the one isn’t the colour you expected!

She loved the dress… 💕
The colour, the sparkle, the gorgeous bodice everything was right.

There was just one thing.

The original mid-leg length wasn’t quite her. She wanted it shorter, fun and above the knee.

So we shortened it while keeping that beautiful flowing shape… and look at the final result! 😍

Sometimes you find the right dress , it just needs a little tweak to make it your dress.
