A few more bags packed and ready to go πŸ‘•πŸ‘–β€οΈ

It might just look like bags of clothes, but every one of these has the potential to be given a second life and help support a good cause at the same time.

We’re always incredibly grateful to everyone who donates, collects and helps us keep clothing out of waste and moving on to where it can make a difference.

Whether it’s one bag or ten, it all adds up. πŸ™Œ

Thank you for continuing to support SOS Clothes, we genuinely appreciate every single donation. ♻️❀️

πŸ’š Thank You for Your Incredible Support! πŸ’š

This photo shows just 3 full cages of clothing donations, and it's only a small glimpse of what comes through our doors. We fill loads of cages like these every single day thanks to your incredible generosity.

Every bag donated to SOS Clothes helps us give clothing a second life, reduce waste, and support our mission. Your kindness is making a real difference, and we couldn't do what we do without the amazing support of our community.

From all of us at SOS Clothes, thank you to everyone who has taken the time to donate. Every single bag is appreciated, and we're incredibly grateful for your ongoing support. πŸ’šβ™»οΈ

Thinking about decluttering your wardrobe? πŸ‘•βœ¨

We all have those clothes we no longer wear, items that sit unused and take up space. Instead of letting them gather dust or end up in landfill, why not turn them into something positive? β™»οΈπŸ’š

Donating your unwanted clothes is a simple way to
βœ”οΈ Free up space and organise your home
βœ”οΈ Reduce waste and help the environment
βœ”οΈ Support charities and people who truly need it

Your pre loved items can go on to have a second life, helping families, funding great causes and reducing the impact of fast fashion 🌍

Even small clear outs can make a big difference!

A reminder of what we do, how we do it and why β™»οΈπŸ’š

As 2026 kicks off and looks set to be a busy year, we wanted to share a snapshot of SOS Clothes in action.

We collect your unwanted clothing on behalf of Tree of Hope, helping to recycle it, extend its lifespan and raise an incredible amount of funds for our amazing chosen charity. It is a simple but powerful alternative to donating money. You can support a great cause just by clearing out your wardrobe, while also doing your bit for the planet πŸŒπŸ‘•

The image above is an illustrated reimagining of inside our warehouse. It is not always a pretty job, but it is a resourceful, impactful operation that turns unwanted clothes into real support for children and families who need it most.

So if you are feeling generous this year, need some wardrobe space or both, we have got you covered.

πŸŒβ™»οΈ 5 Interesting Facts About Textile Recycling & Why It Matters to SOS Clothes β™»οΈπŸŒ

At SOS Clothes, we’re passionate about giving clothing a second life, and helping protect our planet at the same time. Here are five fascinating facts about textile recycling that highlight what we do and why it means so much to us:

✨ 1. Over 350,000 tonnes of clothing end up in UK landfills every year.
By donating instead of throwing away, we can dramatically reduce waste and keep usable clothing in circulation.

✨ 2. Extending the life of a garment by just 9 months can reduce its carbon footprint by up to 30%.
A small change makes a big difference, which is why repurposing and reusing your donations matters so much.

✨ 3. Most clothes thrown away are still perfectly wearable.
Your unwanted items can easily become someone else’s treasure β€” and help support meaningful causes at the same time.

✨ 4. Recycling textiles saves valuable natural resources.
Reused clothing reduces the need for new materials, lowering water usage, energy consumption, and pollution.

✨ 5. Donations create real community impact.
When you fill an SOS Clothes donation bag, you're not just clearing space, you're helping support our mission, reduce waste, and make a positive difference for people and the environment.

πŸ’š At SOS Clothes, we believe every garment deserves another chance, and every donation tells a story.
Thank you for helping us protect the planet, support communities, and build a more sustainable future. 🌿
