Power of Pants (POP!) is a brand of fabulous, leakproof period pants for all ages and bodies. Wheth Period pants are a game changer. You, probably!

While they look and feel like regular underwear, the absorbent and leakproof gusset allows you to replace traditional tampons, pads and liners with a comfy pair of pants. Commercial period products contain large amounts of plastic that can take over 500 years to decompose. By joining our crew you are saving our planet and your money.

Start with a small step… substitute one day of your cycle for our pants or use our pants instead of a liners, as a back up. You won’t regret it and, like us, you will probably be hooked. New to the Crew? We use our Power Pants in lots of ways. They can be worn all day depending on your flow. Wear them instead of a liner as a back-up with a tampon or a cup, or simply pop them in your bag for those times when your period makes a surprise visit. We have styles to suit all bodies. OMG - Our Magic Gusset extends from the front to the back waistband giving extra security, protection and a nice contour. They fit true to size and are a close fit to your body. Available absorbencies are;

🤸🏾‍♀️ Light flow - will absorb up to 5ml or one tampons worth

🏄‍♀️🏄‍♀️ Moderate flow - will absorb up to 10ml or two tampons worth

🏋🏽‍♀️🏋🏽‍♀️🏋🏽‍♀️ Heavy flow - will absorb up to 15ml or three tampons worth

😴😴😴😴 Overnight flow - will absorb up too 20ml or four tampons worth

Care for your pair...

It's easier than you think. Simply rinse after wearing in cold water until the water runs clear then throw them in a cold wash with your regular load. The only important thing to remember is please don't use fabric conditioner and do not tumble dry or iron (!) - just hang on the line and let nature do the work.

The thought of having a period on a school trip can trigger some distressing memories.

Now, I have the pleasure of watching from the sidelines as my child approaches this stage in life. At 9 years old, I’m hoping she won’t face this soon, but the reality is that some kids will.

I recall getting a call in the early days of POP to deliver pants just hours before a Year 6 girl headed out on a residential trip. Luckily, the customer was nearby, and I could leap into action.

I urge parents to pack a pair of our period shorts in their child’s kit, just in case. Period pants are relatively new and were not available when I first got my period. They are a game changer—no leaks, no fuss, no discomfort.

Wear them like regular knickers, wash, and wear again. They are so simple that if I could, I’d give every girl a pair!

I can’t express how much joy this brings to my heart. While reusable options are my preference, acknowledging that personal needs vary is crucial.

Access to menstrual products should be universal. The fact that it’s available at a small rugby club in South Devon, where my 9-year-old daughter plays, adds an extra layer of significance.

It’s incredibly gratifying to see both players and supporters being considered and cared for in this way. While this level of inclusivity should be the norm, we understand it’s unfortunately not. Kudos to Salcombe RFC for setting a great example!

If you don’t like reaching for pain killers Lavender oil could be your answer. Mix a few drops with a carrier oil (like Almond, olive or coconut) and massage over your abdomen.

Does anyone else have a natural way to manage symptoms they would like to share?
