Preparation is key…..
Each cotbed size quilt takes 120 x 4.5inch squares of fabric- or the equivalent when I am incorporating different shapes and sizes of motif from the fabric. One 0-3 month baby vest contributes 2 squares and bigger clothes add more so lots of tiny clothes get converted for each quilt..
Once they are cut out each square needs backing with fusible interfacing so they don’t change shape when sewing together.
I love every step and how it all comes together to preserve beautiful memories 🥰
