Tweeds with Style Be-spoke Soft Tailoring and Textile Design. Designer of The 'Derbyshire' Tartan. It is registered as a 'District' tartan and is about to be woven very soon.

We have had a two & a half year break since re-locating to Derby from the beautiful Isle of Harris. We have been attending various courses for business, the latest one on Digital Marketing. This is 'Made in Derbydhire 2015' and we had this 'crazy' idea, we should design a tartan to celebrate so we did. The tartan will be fully launched with a show featuring Local Designer's and, our own work too

Registration notes: A district tartan designed to tie in with “Made in Derbyshire 2015”. The colours were specifically chosen to represent the countryside, moors and industrial heritage of the Derbyshire area. The tartan will be used for garments and soft furnishings. Woven Sample: A woven sample of this tartan has been received by the Scottish Register of Tartans for permanent preservation in the National Records of Scotland.

If, like me, you use large cones of machine thread's, you use the same thread's for hand stitching, ( or you're too miserable to by Hand Sewing Threads), this little block comes in handy.. Bees Wax. Stop's twisting & strengthens.
