Sewing machinist required for lingerie production.

Cosmic Girl is a brand producing high-end, premium-quality Retro inspire lingerie and nightwear, in the UK for our loyal customer base.
We hand-make all our garments to the highest standards.
We are looking for somebody to join our team who has a methodical mindset, a keen eye for detail, and can work to size specifications.
Hitting the ground running we are looking for an experienced machinist who can, after training, work without supervision.
We are looking for someone to grow with the business and have enthusiastic input into the design of new styles.
Previous experience:
• Lingerie manufacture
• Nightwear manufacture
• Working with silks and satins
• Working with delicate materials (bridal and corsetry desired)
• Pattern cutting and grading.
Requirements:
• Production Machining
• Lockstitch
• Overlock
• Cross stitch
• Cutting out orders
• Own transport (own car)
Desirable but not essential:
• Enthusiasm for alternative and Retro fashion
• Design Experience
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Freelance
Part-time hours: 16 per week
Work Location: Heanor, Ilkeston, Ripley, Breadsall Area
